AI Engineer & Data Science Specialist (m/f/d)

For our growing Data Science team, we are looking for reinforcements at the locations Berlin, Hamburg, and Stuttgart starting immediately!

As an Agentic AI & Data Science Specialist, you will drive the development and integration of agentic applications using foundation models in a multi-disciplinary fullstack-team. Your focus will be on building scalable, production-ready agentic solutions that enhance intelligent automation, decision-making, and data-driven services across the company.  

Your responsibilities include

• Designing and integrating AI-driven microservices and automation solutions.
• Working with foundation models (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude) and optimizing them for business applications in a professional firm context.
• Developing and maintaining  micro-services in Go or Python that follow clean code and clean architecture principles.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable and robust AI systems for internal and external clients.

Your profile

• Experience in engineering agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent systems
• Proficiency in Python or R, with a focus on machine learning and AI engineering; Go is a plus
• Hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
• Software engineering skills, including clean code, version control, CI/CD, and event-/message-driven systems, e.g. NATS
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI solutions (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face)
• Fluency in English (C1 Level) ; German is a plus

Nice to Have: 

• Experience in Ops practices for AI systems (LMOps, MLOps)
• Background in accounting or controlling, particularly in data-driven decision-making
